Irish cats are becoming famous around the world, but when it comes to the internet, they can be pretty bad.
A cat’s keen sense of hearing is one of the best things about the species, but for many cats it can be a challenge to navigate social situations.
So in this episode of the podcast, we talk to an Irish cat named Sam who is one lucky cat.
He has a knack for finding the right spots for his food, and we’re fascinated to hear about his daily commute.
Read moreIrish cats are renowned for their ability to recognise their surroundings and get along well with other animals, but that doesn’t mean they are the only ones that can learn to use social cues to navigate the world.
For one cat, they learn to recognise landmarks, like signs or signs pointing to shops or other landmarks.
This Irish cat knows when he needs to move from one side of the street to another.
His first instinct was to head straight towards a supermarket, but Sam quickly realised that the other side of a street could be a better choice.
Sam, who is also a great sport, is also keen to get on with his daily life, and this time he got a lot more mileage out of a trip to a coffee shop than he did on a long walk.
Read MoreSam has a habit of going from one corner of a house to another, and when he is travelling, he is able to navigate his way across a parking lot and the side of his road without needing to look over his shoulder.
The cat also knows when it is safe to stop at a busy intersection.
The cats’ intelligence is such that it has allowed them to learn to navigate a lot of the things that we take for granted.
We asked Sam if he could walk in front of us at this busy intersection, and he was a little surprised when we told him he could.
He then showed us how he could get around the traffic lights without looking.
We’ve learned that Sam loves to find new spots for food, so we decided to put him through a training programme to learn the best way to go about getting the cat to his food.
We trained Sam to find his food on a nearby building, but we also wanted to test whether Sam was able to recognise a sign that told him when he needed to walk.
We then set up the training programme so that Sam would use his head to navigate, and it was a bit tricky because he was learning to recognise signs that weren’t on the street.
We found out that Sam was better at finding the correct location for his meal when he was at a safe intersection.
After several sessions of training, Sam was much better at navigating his way through traffic, and the new training helped him learn the right way to get to his meal.
Sam is very good at finding his food at a nearby shop, and although he is not a great cat-walker, he has learnt to find the right spot for food.
Sam also knows which street to go to when he goes shopping, and if he was going to the coffee shop, he would walk a few metres away.
Sam’s ability to navigate through traffic is what makes him so popular, and in fact, he seems to be enjoying it so much that he is now a paid advertising model in Ireland.
Sam enjoys getting his daily fix of the tasty treats, and will even give us some tips on how to make a great coffee.
