Posted by The Cartoon Network on Monday, September 12, 2019 02:12:57 Disney’s Animal Kingdom, one of the world’s most popular theme parks, is releasing a brand new film series called Animal Kingdom: Animated Films, with the aim of providing an entertaining experience for both adults and children.
The film series, titled Animal Kingdom Animated Films: The Power of Love, is a series that includes original animated films and short shorts, featuring some of the most popular Disney characters, such as Donald Duck, Tigger, Buzz Lightyear, Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Daisy, Buzz and Tigger.
“Our goal is to provide the same experience that Disney has for generations of fans,” Disney said in a statement.
“We are very excited to be working with The Cartoon Networks and Animal Kingdom on this new series.
It is our hope that this new Disney-branded series will spark a new wave of new animation, as we look to deliver new content that fans will love.”
The series will be released in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
“The Disney brand has been on a tear in recent years, and Animal World has been an incredible home for our animation teams,” said Michael A. Katz, senior vice president, Walt Disney Animation Studios.
“With our collaboration with The Animators Group, we are excited to bring a brand-new, family-friendly, and unique experience to fans and viewers around the world.”
‘We are a brand’ The animated films that will be featured in the series are: Donald Duck: The Adventures of Donald Duck (2018) The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer (2018), starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Dan Stevens, Bill Hader, and Josh Gad.
The Adventures, the first Disney film to be nominated for an Academy Award, follows a group of friends who become embroiled in a plot to steal a priceless treasure from the island of Oahu.
Buzz Lightyears: The Quest For Buzz Light Years (2018).
The first Disney animated film to star Tom Hanks.
The story follows the adventures of the lovable misfit, a mischievous cat-man who wants to travel the world with his partner Buzz Lightbulb, and their adorable baby son, Buzz.
Daisy Duck: Magic in the Sky (2018); starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Lucy Liu, and Michaela Watkins.
The animated film follows the story of Daisy as she tries to find her place in the world after a life of mischief at sea.
Minnie and the Bots: Adventures of Minnie, Pluto and the Rescue (2018, 2019).
The Disney animated series follows Minnie’s search for the lost kingdom of Atlantis.
Tigger: Adventures on the Tigger Planet (2018)!
The Disney animation series follows Tigger as he travels the world in search of a magical tree that will help him defeat his nemesis, Captain Crunch.
Daisy: The Lost Treasure of Daisy Duck (2019).
The animated Disney film follows Daisy as the last of her family, as she is pursued by pirates and has to make a dangerous journey across the ocean to rescue her sister.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie: A Tale of Two Mouseheads (2018; 2019) Mickey Mouse heads to Africa to rescue Minnie after she and her friends are captured by pirates.
Tiggers adventures take him across the world as he sets out to rescue his friends from the evil King Cobra.
Donald Duck & Friends: The Donald Duck Adventures (2018-2019); starring Will Arnett, Eric Stonestreet, Bill Murray, Bill Lawrence, and Robin Williams.
The Disney-animated Disney series follows Donald Duck and friends as they search for their home in the Everglades.
Tiggy: Tigger’s Wild Ride (2018)-2019; starring John Leguizamo.
Tig has to face off against the deadly Snakes, the King Cobra and his deadly robot-slayers in this new animated film from the award-winning creators of Finding Nemo and the original Pixar film Cars.
Daisy & Friends, Pt. 2: Daisy & Toad & The Banana Boat (2019); featuring John Legarino, Bill Prady, and Sam Rockwell.
The next Disney-directed Disney film starring Daisy Duck and her crew as they attempt to save her village from an attack by a hungry crocodile.
