How to Make Discord Not Show What Game You’re Playing
Discord is a popular chat app that allows gamers to communicate through text and voice chat. One of the features of Discord is the ability to show what game you are currently playing.
If you are someone who likes to play games in private, then you may want to turn off this feature. Here are the steps to make Discord not show what game you’re playing:
1. Open Discord
To get started, open up Discord on your computer or device.
2. Go to User Settings
Once Discord is open, click on the gear icon in the bottom left-hand corner to open up the User Settings page.
3. Select Privacy & Safety
On the left-hand side, you’ll see a sidebar. Select the “Privacy & Safety” option.
4. Uncheck “Display Currently Running Game as a Status Message”
On the Privacy & Safety page, scroll down and you’ll see the “Display Currently Running Game as a Status Message” option. Uncheck this box to prevent Discord from showing what game you are playing.
5. Save Changes
Once you’ve made the change, click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
Now Discord will no longer show what game you are playing. Keep in mind that some games have an “always-on” status, which means Discord will always display that game even if the above steps have been completed.
Further Discord Tips
Here are some of the other Discord features that can help you keep your activities private:

- Choose Who You Share Your Presence With: You can control who you share your presence with by blocking servers or individual users.
