What Happens To Bronn In Game Of Thrones?
Bronn is an immensely popular character from George R.R. Martin’s beloved fantasy series, Game of Thrones. In HBO’s adaptation of the books, Bronn is played by actor Jerome Flynn and is a loyal companion to both Tyrion Lannister and Jaime Lannister, often providing witty banter in tense situations.
Bronn was originally a sellsword, an infamous mercenary fighter who would provide services to whoever paid him the most. When he and Tyrion first meet, Bronn would go on to protect and serve the Lannister family loyally, proving his courage and reputation since then.
Bronn’s Climactic Moments
One of Bronn’s most important fights took place in season 5 of Game of Thrones when he is ordered to fight against The Mountain, Ser Gregor Clegane in Jaime’s stead. Bronn succeeds, managing to wound The Mountain with a poisonous blade, while remaining relatively unharmed himself.
More recently in the show, Bronn was offered the lordship of Highgarden and a title by Qyburn in exchange for his assistance to Cersei against the approaching forces. He accepted the offer and was given a crossbow to use on the battlefield.
As of now, Bronn’s fate has not been announced, as Game of Thrones is yet to come to a conclusion. However, Bronn may have had his last moment on the show in season 7’s final episode, when he had to say goodbye to his old comrade Jaime. Anything is possible, however, and it looks like fans will just have to wait and see what becomes of Bronn to get their answers.
Regardless of where his path leads him in the future, Bronn has had an important role within the show and has played a key role in the various battles throughout the show. Fans are sure to remember Bronn as one of the most beloved characters in the Game of Thrones series.
