Bengals vs. Eagles on Thursday Night Football
The Cincinnati Bengals travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in an important divisional match-up on Thursday Night Football. Both teams have struggled this season, with the Eagles sitting at 3-5-1 and the Bengals at 2-6-1, but both squads are hungry for a win that could give them momentum. Here are some things to know heading into the game.
- Date: Thursday, November 19th, 2020
- Time: 8:20 p.m. ET
- Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
Players to Watch
The Bengals will be looking to get a spark from their offense and quarterback Joe Burrow. The first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft has been impressive for a rookie and is looking to build on his 354 passing yards and three total touchdowns against the Titans last week. He’ll be looking to hook up often with wide receiver Tyler Boyd, who leads the team in receptions with 54.
The Eagles will be relying on QB Carson Wentz to get back to his 2017 Pro Bowl form. He’s thrown a combined one touchdown in the last three games, and will need to be at his best against the Bengals despite their poor record. The Eagles’ rushing attack will have to have a good game against the Bengals’ 17th ranked rushing defense if they hope to walk away with a win.
Neither team can afford to lose with the NFC East lead still open, and the Bengals will be looking for their first division win this season. The game will be a close one, but the Eagles’ offense, led by Wentz, will be the deciding factor. I expect the Eagles to come out on top with a 24-17 victory.
Don’t miss the Bengals and Eagles battle it out on Thursday Night Football this Thursday, November 19th, at 8:20 p.m. ET!
