The Cowboys had a strong start with 9:09 left in the first quarter when quarterback Dak Prescott hit Amari Cooper on an 18-yard touchdown pass that put the Cowboys up 7-0. On the other side, Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw an interception in the first quarter that put the Cowboys in position to add another seven points on the board with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Michael Gallup.

The Giants responded with 4:28 left in the second quarter with a five-yard touchdown pass from Manning to Saquon Barkley that cut the Cowboys’ lead down to 14-7. The Cowboys kept the lead, however, with Prescott connecting with Tavon Austin on a three-yard touchdown pass that put them up 21-7.

The Giants stormed back in the fourth quarter, when Manning threw a 48-yard touchdown pass to Cody Latimer with 8:33 left in the game to put the Giants within four points of the Cowboys. Dallas survived the comeback attempt, however, when Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott made a two-yard touchdown run to put them ahead 33-31. The Giants were unable to respond in the final minutes of the game, and Dallas took the win.

The win was the third in a row for the Cowboys, while the Giants ended the season with a 5-11 record. The Cowboys head into the playoffs with an 8-8 record, and will face the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
